Emily & Trey // Lafayette Wedding // Moses Fowler House

“Completely and perfectly and incandescently happy.” -Jane Austen

The historic Moses Fowler House in the heart of Lafayette, so gently romantic and enchanting, was the perfect place for Emily & Trey’s wedding story to unfold. Each part of the beautiful, grand home enabled their story to be told….the dark, wooden stairs that Emily gracefully descended to see her dad for the first time. The stone staircase and multi-level pavilion that became the stunning backdrop for Emily & Trey to exchange sacred vows. The colorful, small rooms- each with finery and character- that their guests laughed and talked within.

Their day ended with a brief frolic to Purdue’s campus, where Trey spent the last few years for his PhD. I so love when I’m able to photograph couples in locations that are especially meaningful to them!

Emily & Trey, may you always find a complete happiness in each other as best friends and life partners. Incandescent- “to be passionate, brilliant, to emit light.” May such words be true of your marriage, your lives, and your impact on the world around you.
