Hello! I so appreciate that you've taken the time to peruse my work. I am Sarah. A storyteller, bookworm, traveler, Hoosier, wife, and mother to my two sweet girls.

Wandering Heart was birthed 15 years ago. For many years, my husband, Frank, and I loved being a husband and wife photo team, and we photographed hundreds of weddings together. It was a joyful adventure.

In fall of 2023, we ceased to offer full day, 2-photographer wedding coverage, as we needed a better work/life/ parenthood balance. Instead, I began offering hourly coverage (2-6 hours) for couples eloping or having small weddings.

As of August 2024, I AM NOT CURRENTLY BOOKING ANY SHOOTS OR WEDDING FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2024, OR 2025 WEDDINGS, as I pursue other opportunities that are creative and life-giving. I will update my website and Instagram if/when I begin taking on new weddings and family clients!
