Indianapolis Wedding // Eiteljorg Museum

There was a moment at Claire & Nick’s reception, an exuberant party of epic proportions, that I thought to myself, “I LOVE my job.” It was a warm summer night and I was surrounded by hundreds of people deliriously happy as they danced to Rod Tuffcurl‘s raucous music in the grand pavilion of the Eiteljorg. The air was heavy with happiness. There were flashes of color everywhere you looked. Glow sticks among the dancing and blinking ice cubes in the cocktails. The colored, flashing lights emanating from the stage and the 20-foot pink, teal, and yellow balloon sculptures that hugged the cedar post of the pavilion. Scroll down to their reception photos, and you’ll see what I mean!

The entire day carried that aura of color and happiness….from getting ready at the chic and fabulous Bottleworks Hotel to galavanting to the War Memorial and Kilroy’s before the ceremony to the ultra colorful (the flowers! the balloons!) and downright amazing setting at the Eiteljorg.

What. A. Day.

(I worked alongside Hannah of Design the Day and The Ewing Studio folks all day…and what a fabulous team we made!)

Enjoy the happiness….
