Q & A

Do you travel for wedding? For portrait sessions?

Yes! I travel throughout Indiana and the Midwest for weddings and photo shoots. There is a small travel fee to cover gas and travel time for events and shoots outside of Bloomington.  

How will I receive my photos?

All of my clients receive their images on a 8GB flash drive (with copyright permission for printing needs) and an online gallery (an incredible, dynamic PASS gallery).

How many images will I receive?

Portrait Session- 80-130 images

Weddings- 500-800 images (dependent of the length of wedding day coverage)

What is your turnaround time?

Portrait Session- Within 45 days            Weddings- Within 90 days

Do you shoot solo or with a 2nd photographer?

I photograph all portrait sessions solo.

Three of my four wedding collections include a 2nd photographer. My gifted husband, Frank, is my 2nd photographer. We love being a husband and wife photo duo!

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III and Mark II. When Frank shoots with me, he carries a Canon 5D Mark III. My favorite lenses are my 50mm 1.4 and 70-200mm 2.8 . Frank’s favorite is the 35mm 1.4. I also bring my 85mm 1.8 and 24-70mm 2.8 to every shoot and wedding.

I LOVE natural light, but professional lighting equipment is essential. I have several Canon Speedlight flashes, and an efficient, travel-friendly lighting system (umbrellas, tripods, wireless transmitters, etc) when needed for indoor formal portraits and receptions.  

What are your editing essentials?

My iMAC. Instrumental post-rock music. Ginger tea. Podcasts. My favorite local coffee (Soma). Lunch breaks with my husband. Productive workflow in Lightroom and Photoshop.
