Matt & MacKenzie postponed their wedding to 2021, but still choose to have a small, intimate wedding ceremony at FAR Center for Contemporary Arts on their original wedding date. It may have been a small gathering, but it was large in love and tears.
There was something special, that words can’t quite articulate, about their exchange of vows and rings, with just their closest friends and family bearing witness. Perhaps it was the beautiful cascade of tears that fell from MacKenzie’s face as she walked down the aisle. Or the emotional words of blessing and gratitude they spoke to their parents after exchanging vows to one another. Or the passing of the candle flame from guest to guest until the candle flame light up their unity candle.
Their big celebration will still happen in the fall of 2021 at FAR, but we’ll all be basking for a long time in the glow of this intimate, love-filled celebration….
