2020 was a hard year for wedding photographers, and for 2020 couples. Of the many couples who hired me to photograph their celebrations in 2020, 8 couples (thanks to a mix of lucky timing, amazing venues and vendors, and thoughtful guests) had, for the most part, the big wedding celebrations they originally planned. And they were amazing parties. Six couples drastically changed their plans, and gathered their closest family and friends for intimate, emotional ceremonies. And I cried at each one of them. Finally, I’ll be photographing the postponed weddings of 12 of my couples throughout 2021. And, I can’t wait.
To all couples, I say ‘Bravo!’ You dealt with a pandemic, and our world being turned upside down, and big/small/emotional wedding decisions.
