Love Story: Elizabeth & Anthony

“I have found the one whom my soul loves.” -Song of Songs 2:4

You’re about to meet someone that is dear to me…my beautiful cousin, Elizabeth. My extended family is incredibly tight-knit, with each family member’s lives intertwined with one another. That said, I’ve watched Elizabeth grow up, and have 1,000 precious memories of her, my sisters, and the rest of my cousins at our grandparent’s farm house- exploring, sharing meals, celebrating birthdays, and doing life together. To be her wedding photographer was so very special, and I felt (and feel) such pride of the woman she is. It was fitting to photograph Elizabeth getting ready in her mother house, before heading to First United Methodist Church in Martinsville for the first look with her groom and for the ceremony. An epic party followed at the Martinsville Golf Club. I was smiling and crying when Elizabeth danced with her mom. E & A danced the night away surrounded by their family and friends. I even managed to dance alongside my sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, and grandparents (My grandparents can do the twist like no one’s business!)- camera in hand. To Elizabeth & Anthony..may you continually discover the beauty of loving and serving one another.
